ARTIST: El Anatsui

Sunday, April 5, 2021  – 7:30-8:30 pm via Zoom. Free & Open to the Public. RegisterPrint.

The only preparation for the workshop is to randomly gather materials that you have around the house, inside or outside, to create a sculpture. There are no must haves or right or wrong materials for this project. It is best to not think about what you will be making as you gather materials, just collect things that resonate with you or that you just happen upon. There will be time after we discuss the Anatsui’s process and our project to add more materials from items you may have stashed at home.

Examples of items to gather and bring to your work area for the Master Class:

• a cutting tool – i.e. scissors or utility knife (a cutting surface if using a utility knife, like a cutting mat, piece of cardboard, or kitchen cutting board) Continue reading “Master Class Workshop Series Supply List – El Anatsui – April 5th Franklin Cultural Council”

Medway Beeswax & Ink Transfer Workshop Supply List

This is the supply list of items to compliment the kit for Medway participants in the Beeswax & Ink Transfer Kitchen Table Art Workshop.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Medway Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

If you notice I posted another supply list earlier (about a month ago) the info is the same. The only difference is that the wording is slightly different, the supplies are the same, that list is geared towards participants who do not have a kit.

Enjoy!
